When buying a home in the greater Seattle region, it's important to pay attention to your commute. Traffic varies significantly from neighborhood to neighborhood, and depending on the time of the day.
We've put together some neighborhood pages to help you research commute times in Seattle. In addition to a traffic map that shows you how long it would take to drive, walk, bike, or ride transit into downtown Seattle from each neighborhood, you can also see the most recent homes for sale in that area.
Try adjusting the time of day, and the date as well. Tuesday morning at 8 a.m., for example, and Friday at 5 p.m., will really tell you a lot about how the commute is in Seattle for the average resident. Adjust to Bellevue or Redmond if your commute takes you to on of our Eastside employment centers.
