West Lake Sammamish Homes For Sale, Bellevue WA


West Lake Sammamish is a long, narrow stretch of neighborhood that encompasses West Lake Sammammish Blvd and the neighboring blocks along most of Bellevue's eastern shore. High end estates dot the waterfront, while more luxury properties usually inhabit the city-side of the street as well. While there are a few condos in the North end, as well as some condo-style communities in the South, the vast majority of homes here are single family houses. Lots range from steep drives to flat, even lots, and most waterfront homes have long docks and great access to Lake Sammamish's water activities.

One of the greenfields in West Lake Sammamish is Weowna Park Trails (565 W Lake Sammamish Pkwy SE). You will enjoy this park if you like hiking. Weowna Park Trails is a forested area with hiking or biking trails, waterfalls, picnic areas, and great views of Lake Sammamish and the Cascade Mountains. If you're looking for a park with a pickleball court and tennis courts, visit Hillaire Park. It is at 15803 NE 6th St in the northern West Lake Sammamish. Hillaire Park has a playground for kids, a basketball court, a pickleball court, tennis courts, pets On leash areas, walking trails, picnic tables, and restrooms. There are many shops and restaurants in the north of Hillaire Park. You may purchase food and drinks before going to the park. Local businesses available are Grocery Outlet (Grocery store) in 15625 NE 8th St, So Tasty (Chinese restaurant, sotastyusa.com) in 15920 NE 8th St #7, Palace Korean Bar & Grill (Korean restaurant, palacebbq.com) in 15932 NE 8th St, and more. 

If you love kayaking or canoeing, visit Phantom Lake Park in 2064-2098 156th Ave SE located in Lake Hills Greenbelt. Phantom Lake Park has a small dock, trails, fishing areas, picnic areas, restrooms, and a great view of the lake on a clear day. Another place to launch kayaks and pedalboards is Robinsglen Nature Park. It is at 16357 SE 16th St in the west of Weowna Park Trails. Robinsglen Nature Park is a small park with water access, trails, wildlife habitat, and a great view of the Phantom lake. 

Another small community park is called Evergreen Park at 15655 Lake Hills Blvd. The park has a playground and restrooms. There are restaurants in Lake Hills Village near the Evergreen Park like Meet Fresh (Dessert shop, meetfresh.us) at 15552 Lake Hills Blvd f5, Little Ting’s Dumplings (Chinese restaurant) in 683 156th Ave SE, HardWok Cafe (Taiwanese restaurant, hardwokcafeseattle.com) in 667 156th Ave SE, and Shabu Shabu Kyoto Japanese Restaurant (ordertogo.com) in 627 156th Ave SE. 

In southern West Lake Sammamish, you will also find small parks like Spiritridge Park (16100 SE 33rd Pl). Spiritridge Park has a picnic area, a basketball court, a tennis court, a play area, a flower garden, and trails. Another small beautiful place to have a picnic is Sunrise Park & Trailhead. It is at 4095 W Lake Sammamish Pkwy SE and has trails and picnic areas. 

One of the schools serving West Lake Sammamish is Spiritridge Elementary School. It is at 16401 SE 24th St in the south of Weowna Park Trails. Spiritridge Elementary School (425-456-5900, bsd405.org/spiritridge) is a top-rated public school, #20 of 1,168 Best Public Elementary Schools in Washington, and has 691 students in grades K-5. Another public school serving West Lake Sammamish is Phantom Lake Elementary School. It is at 1050 160th Ave SE in the east of Lake Hills Greenbelt. Phantom Lake Elementary School (425-456-5600, bsd405.org/phantomlake) is a highly rated public school, #108 of 1,168 Best Public Elementary Schools in Washington, and has 458 students in grades PK-5.
